David is only selling rights for yahoo to promote tumblr and stuff like that,he is only selling us if it promises “Tumblr’s CEO David Karp he can retain control of the company” So he isn’t completely letting us go. Also , if he did not sell it, Tumblr would only be able to run for a few more months, the money wasn’t coming in fast enough to support the cost of the website, if he didn’t sell Tumblr would have gone bankrupt and had to have shut down and never come back.if it werent for yahoo buying tumblr this website would be completely gone in a matter of months so pls educate yourself
